to Him Who controls the weather,
thank You for warm, windy days.
i know that the most violent storm on this planet is but the softest of Your breaths, but it still reminds me that You are in control of my life (my life being small as well as short); that when i think i can make myself or my situation better, i am deceiving myself. You alone can change my life. You alone can make me better.

thank You for the Vietnamese people -- please bless them and shine Your truth on them. teach them to correct the error of their ways and make their lives wonderful/happy/healthy to the degree that they used to be miserable. glorify Yourself by their beliefs and actions.

You do not exist for our good. You do not redeem us from death for our sakes. for us to think so is for us to not know You.
no one can boast before You.
You are the reason for everything. everything You do, You do for Your glory.
yet You are justified in all that You do.
Your happiness in Yourself and Your actions spills over to us, and we are happy because You do everything for Your glory. we are alive and happy because You are our King.

we are alive and happy because You glorify Yourself.

the entire creation eagerly awaits for our redemption which You are bringing about. the creation shares in our miseries even though it did nothing to deserve death and decay.
one day, we and it will all be restored to glory.

i know so little of You, God -- please teach me about You, please show me Your truth. please teach me to correct the error of my ways. please make my life wonderful/happy/healthy to the degree that i used to be miserable.

thank You for creating us. thank You for keeping us alive on this small, fragile planet.
thank You that You will redeem us.
please teach us to love each other.

be glorified in my life, and may Your glory also bring my good.
