to the Rule-Maker,

i need You. You are my existence. You know everything about me --
what others know about me,
what i know about me that others don't,
what i will never know about myself.

the secrets that You store in me are for Your joy and purpose.
i am Your creature; i am Your creation.

i am Your servant. command me in the way You desire.

do not let me be put to shame, but do not let me deceive myself with pride.
help me remember what i am and what i am not.

give me courage to be a servant of all.
give me love enough to be selfless.

may every eye seek You. may every mind know how famous You are. may every heart fear You. may every mouth praise You. may every action prove Your purpose.

You are the only profitable pursuit...in any economy...at any time.
