Jesus Is; therefore, we are

One day, I went down to the Sea of Galilee--
I say, I went down to the Gennesaret Sea,
and Jesus Christ came over to me
and said, "How can you be?"

I responded ever so silently,
For I knew that in reality
I never had been nor ever could be.

but Jesus Christ came over to me,
and said, "I Am: you will be."

"He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." (Colossians 1:17)
Jesus Christ is all that is holding me together, and He is more than capable of doing so.

to the One Who holds me together:
You are gracious and slow to anger, quick to overlook my shortcomings. just as those who first saw the grand canyon could not express to anyone just how big it was, so i cannot express how much love You are and give: anyone who wants to know how much love You have must experience Your love firsthand; Your loving nature is ineffable.
You are life. You give life to the dead.

"The Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son," (Colossians 1:13)
