to Christ, my only Fiancé,

You are the One Who asked for my hand in marriage, and You are the One i said yes to.
You are my Bridegroom for eternity;
and eternity includes now and next year and ten years from now...
until this body dies so that i may live.

You will never disappoint; You will always understand me.
You will never leave me to go to work; You will work with me.

You will never compare me to other women.
You will always be happy that i am Yours.
You will always be the perfect Partner.
You will always be the fairest of all!
You will always know how to act in every situation.

You will always know who i am and why i act the way i do --
even when i change or grow into a different person than i am today.

when i dishonor and disrespect You, Your love will endure.
when i am cruel and do not understand You, You will still love me.

when i ignore You.
when i am impatient and selfish.
when i only want to talk about myself,
when i really don't want to hear about how Your life is going,
You love me in spite of my bad moods and rash actions!

You alone are strong enough to handle me. You are the only One that can take everything i dish out and everything that life dishes out on me -- and still love me just the same.

God, You are the only One for me. i have found the One; 

or rather, the One has found me and has spoken for me.
